I can understand that sentiment, HC, but the fire was allowed to spread through appeasement and/or ignorance going back more than two decades. More recently, Obama spent eight years not caring about foreign policy, and he left a flaming bag of shit for a predecessor who just keeps stepping in it.

What, if not promising hellfire, is the appropriate response to regime, who has made threats in the past, and who, according to reports, now possesses the capability to deliver a nuclear warhead to the U.S., if they continue to make threats towards us?

He promised hellfire in response to future bluster.

I don't know what the appropriate response is. But I know that ain't it.

The promise of hellfire has been there ever since Aug. 1945.

Look over there! Don't look at the literal lunatic ravings out of the White House, the real issue is hashing out nuances of Obama foreign policy.

How do you differentiate bluster from threats, when dealing with nuclear arms, in the hands of a madman?

Don't we have to prepare to take out the weapons?

And, didn't this just get China's full attention?

That's what the rest of the world has been wondering since the first Tuesday in November.

    Go ahead and criticize.

I don't have a single issue with what Trump said today. It was the right response. We're going to have to take out the nukes if things compntinue to progress along this path.

Making that clear is the best way to avoid this.

Or we could try just assassinating Kim and save a few million lives

If he grabbed his nuts and roared like a lion while doing cartwheels, you'd say it was "the right response."
