Just got done consulting with the SJ.com community on this question, and it concluded that you should remove your typing fingers by means of blowtorch.

On the other side of the coin, Chuck Norris came out for Roy Moore a couple of days ago.

Chuck Norris could kick Trump's ass!

Trump seems completely unable to grasp that the smartest thing he can do with the people investigating him is to leave them alone, keep his mouth shut, and keep his distance.

Trumps' threat to unleash the dogs of war on the communist, Orwellian, dictatorial society that is North Korea feels appropriate. These guys talk terrorism but do very little of it. Unlike ISIS they have a dictatorial, hierarchical system and those in power wish to stay in power for the perks, not the ideology.

Here's the thing. Suppose North Korea launched one nuclear missile that say in the very, very best case exploded into the Pacific Ocean and contaminated a fishing area for hundreds of years or, in the worst case, killed hundreds of thousands in Tokyo or Seoul. The appropriate response would be to turn the entire county into a sea of glass. No fucking regrets.

Trump has precisely the "throw the steering wheel out the window" bluster that comes in handy in diplomatic situations like this.

As is pretty much always the case, this is a defense of an imaginary version of Trump's comments.

He wasn't talking about retaliation. He was talking about preemptive first strike.

It's already known we will do this, and has been since 1945.

Any nation that attacks the US with an identifiable weapon whose origin can be conclusively traced, will be annihilated off the face of the earth.

There are a couple problems with that. First is, Fucko did not promise massive retaliation, he threatened a preemptive first strike (unprecedented by the US).

Second is that pretty much every single goddamn word uttered by this shitshow clown show clisterfuck rump regime is a lie: a massive explosion goes off in Guam. Fucko says NK did it. NOW we're supposed to believe him?

Third is this: NK can set off nukes in any US city they want, pretty much any time they want. All they need is a container ship and a rental truck.
And unlike a ballistic missile, we'd have no idea where it came from.
