And you can't cut a deal with us. Our leadership can't be trusted to keep past promises.

North Korea threatened Guam 10 minutes after Trump told them no more threats or fire and fury would be unleashed.

Why hasn't fire and fury been unleashed?

Sometimes yes, sometimes no. Some of the stuff he has tried to do, but it's getting bogged down by his ineptitude and checks/balances.

But he has spoken repeatedly about a fondness for preemptive strikes and a fascination with nuclear bombs. He has shown repeatedly that he is not constrained in any way by convention. And the only check on his ability to order a nuclear strike is an underling that he can fire and replace on the spot.

I'm not betting on him doing it at even odds, but to dismiss the possibility is to stick your head in the sand on who he is and what state his mind is in.

If this was a brown country leader saying the exact same things, we'd have a bipartisan bill authorizing regime change and nation building inside 36 hours.

    OK.
So by dropping a nuc on Guam, does President Trump come back and unleash the hounds on Who Flung Poo?

God that 'fire and furry' head is showing up more times than that Pat Venditte 'amphibious' goof from like three years ago.

Yesterday Cy Kluber pitched a complete game in which he gave up one run. It came on a home run on the second pitch of the game. The Indians did not score until the bottom of the ninth, when they won the game.

Is Kluber a better pitcher because his team gave him the win?

BTW, it was the first game since 1996 where a pitcher went the distance and his team was behind after every inning until winning it in the ninth.

I pride myself on being pretty level-headed under most circumstances.

I think we are going to experience a nuclear war during this calendar year if Trump is not removed, somehow, from office.

BTW, I also got a kick out of this passage from the buzzfeed story:

"....he is something of a laughing stock among Europeans at international gatherings. One revealed that a small group of diplomats play a version of word bingo whenever the president speaks because they consider his vocabulary to be so limited. “Everything is ‘great’, ‘very, very great’, ‘amazing’,” the diplomat said."

So the US President's English language vocabulary is so limited that it's being mocked even by those to whom English is not their first language.
