A good deal of the fucked up Middle East is a legacy of fuckups by Daddy Bush, Reagan, Nixon and (gulp) Eisenhower.

Polls indicate that assertion is wrong. A significant percentage of Trump voters are expressing doubts and non-Trump voters are getting more intense in opposition. Could change, but that's where we are now. Moody, people you know will be the last to admit they might've made a mistake. Human nature.

Such a law couldn't pass, wouldn't be signed into law, and wouldn't pass constitutional muster, but...

There are folks who would insist that we wait until we were nuked before we used our own nukes.

    It's insanity.

A good portion of posters on this board, for sure. Wouldn't want to come off as mean. Let's wait and see how the nuking goes and then proceed from there.

The Sunni-Shia conflict predates the founding of the US by about 1200 years. But of course, it's all about us. The best thing that could happen to the world is if the US could just take an ego break.

Republican fundraising is well outpacing democrat fundraising.

The only candidates Dems like are too old to run -- unless you want to nominate Clinton, Biden, Sanders, or Warren.

Expressing "doubts" about Trump is one thing. An unnamed candidate can always poll well. Let's see how the eventual Dem nominee does.

Exactly. How would this not violate the Commander-in-Chief provision? The War Powers Act is about as relevant as the Washington Nationals in October. I'd assume anything like it would also be ignored.

If we can't nuke people we think might nuke us, why even have them?

    Fucking maniacs

Trump has had multiple, public leaks of classified info straight from himself that is worse than what Clinton's server put at risk.
