It's a play on something I was told as a youngster at a party upon commenting on something I saw from a veteran drinker: "Hey, kid, I've thrown up more than you've ever eaten."

I mean, if it turns into some sort of bizarre gains of "would you rather," then sure you can probably come up with a scenario. What if an evil wizard is going to send us all to a magic universe of infinite, permanent suffering if we don't launch a nuke? Then we have to, right?

But in the real world, the only reasonable public policy is second strike deterrence.

A North Korea that hasn't done shit to anyone but their own people.

Otto Warmbier put himself under their jurisdiction voluntarily.

It's the one we are going to make up now because Trump thinks it'll be good for his approval rating that concerns me

Come on, man. You think the DPRK started working on building a nuclear weapon in November?

    Right.

I'm also just not concerned about Trump dropping a nuke on North Korea. He blustered. Is that shocking?

But, I do trust that, if necessary, and in consultation with our military, he would order an appropriate military strike, to mitigate the threat.
