    Or, they back down.

Or, China, not wanting us to attack a client state cracks he whip on them.

Or, some sane actors in the North Korean military decide to topple Kim.

All Trump has done is let Kim know that he chooses his own fate.

He said that if they continue with their silly threats, he will nuke them. That is what he said.

And then they did, and he didn't. #DearLeader

He didn't say he would nuke them.

He didn't define what he would consider a threat.

Bluster about striking Guam might not draw a response. Moving a weapon to a launch site probably will.

Meanwhile, there's time for an alternate outcome.

"North Korea best not make any more threats to the United States," the president warned, responding to a reporter's question at his Bedminster Golf Club, where Trump has spent the last several days. "They will be met with fire, fury and frankly power the likes of which this world has never seen before."

    Any more
    threats.

    Any more.

Amazing how when someone pushes your emotional buttons you drop your crusade for precise language.

"Any more threats" is pretty precise.

    "Any more."

And I'm not in the least bit "emotional" about this. Nor have "buttons" been "pushe[d]."

I have one button, really: resorts to ad hominem attacks here.
