You will do (and say) what I did ... which is whatever Mom approved.

It's funny, I've always viewed most papers as being written for parents with kids, teens in high school. I don't think it is a coincidence that is also the demo for most managing editors.

From the Bloomberg article on Manafort just above:

"The 6 a.m. raid on Manafort’s Virginia home last month seemingly caught his legal team by surprise. It came the day after he testified before the Senate Intelligence Committee, and after he had provided his notes to the committee."

I had written that Manafort was an idiot if there was anything left in his house for the FBI to find, but this was a sneaky good move by them. If he had a briefcase full of notes when he went before the committee, those documents may very well not have gotten back to safe storage before the FBI showed up in the early hours of the next day.

Redistribution, ersatz-Socialist style! Couple buys, for $90K, a slice of posh real estate for which there are years of unpaid taxes. Now the "looking out for the less fortunate" set is crying foul. I'd wager that eventually we're going to see #democraticprocesses in action.

As you probably know, or if not will soon learn, when they reach a certain age and have a couple bucks in their pockets, they'll buy whatever clothes they want.

At least short shorts are pretty cheap.

You can ask same question about the man asking this question.

It's sheer dog-wagging at this point. Something big is coming down in the investigations.

I found out something I never knew a couple of days ago. Nixon's Southern Strategy came up on another board, and I took a quick look at the Wikipedia page for Lee Atwater. Back in the day, when Manafort was lobbying for many of the worst dictators in the world, Atwater was a partner in the firm.

I'm starting to wonder the same thing myself.

I'll take that a step further. They'll wear whatever clothes they want. Those short shorts she was forbidden to wear out of the house? They will be under her acceptable clothes, or in the trunk of the car, or her purse, or with a friend who meets her somewhere.

Cute daughters are a father's punishment for being a teenage horndog back in the day, because they know exactly what the little shit who picks up his daughter on Friday night is hoping.
