So we're upset the NFL didn't rush its judgement?

We're questioning if the NFL dragged its collective feet longer than necessary, but I don't think that is going to be the real issue here.

The prosecutors never said they didn't believe her. They said they did according to the letter.

As long as he's back in time for the NFL to put the Cowboys in prime time the last six weeks and save their ratings, it's all good.

I think there are two separate issues here.

It's obvious to anybody that's not a Cowboy fan that he roughed her up, to what degree who knows. He's a piece of shit

My issue would be the NFL's power in this and how weak the PA is. The players have given way to much power to Goodell.

I guess people who believe Braun was framed and Armstrong was clean may also believe she stumbled into a door.

Seems odd to me that you can be disciplined under the terms of an agreement to which you weren't a party at the time the offense occurred.

I haven't paid close enough attention to know how obvious it is or not, so I'll avoid that debate in spite of your attempt at starting a side argument with that last line.

You are right that the player's association is extremely weak. That is nothing new.

Goodell has taken advantage of this to add to his own power since he took office, especially in cases where public opinion is against the player. It's something I've been talking about for years. This is just the latest example.

The league's problem is that Goodell has lost the trust of the players and the public.

When you sign your contract you agree to be bound to the terms, all the terms, and that includes being bound by the standard conditions of the league and PA collective bargaining agreement. Don't agree? Stay in school, finish your degree in biomedical engineering ...

Sure. Just seems odd, that's all.

That's bullshit. Terrelle Pryor was punished for his actions while in college.
