Kelly should quit. Now. People on both sides say he's a decent dude and a great American who has served his country more in one career than Trumpists' favorite son could do in several lifetimes. And if all of that is true, the Fuhrer doesn't care. If all of that is true, we can reasonably assume Kelly advised the Fuhrer to place blame squarely where it belonged ASAP and that the Fuhrer refused. And if that's the case, the unqualified, racist in the White House is unworthy of Kelly's help.

Conspiracy theorist Alex Jones said over the weekend that he believed the white supremacist rally in Charlottesville, Virginia was staged, and compared it to other rallies in which he claimed to have seen Jewish people masquerading as Nazis and Ku Klux Klan members.

“I’ve been to these events, a lot of the KKK guys with their hats off look like they’re from the cast of Seinfeld,” he said Sunday, as old footage of a KKK rally rolled behind him. “Look at them, they’re just Jewish actors. Nothing against Jews in general, but the leftist Jewish want to create this clash, so they go dress up as Nazis.”

 

Ok. That sounds like the Alex Jones that Trumpists love. Glad to know he hasn't sold out conservative real American values.

At this point, I would gladly take a hit for squelching academic debate. Better to be called whatever apologists for genocide would call me than bring the threat of violence to campus. And, yes, I realize that students might be responsible for some of the violence. Better to be safe at this point.
