    1. Not true.

    B. McAuliffe is an idiot.

iii. The Times is trying to cover up the fact that McAuliffe is an idiot.

I'm sure Europeans would dispute the "didn't take 72 hours" claim. They did a whole lot of waitin, for years, before finally getting us in the game.

But cut the guy some slack. Everybody's looking so hard for their own clever twitter put down, can't expect them all to be historically accurate.

Was Joe Kennedy the Steve Bannon of the FDR administration?

Same job, but I think Joe was a little more influential.

This is more historically accurate. You might also add the Mnuchin, as Joe's first job was SEC head, which he got because FDR figured a notorious market manipulator would be an excellent poacher turned gamekeeper. He was made ambassador to GB partly to lower his influence in domestic affairs.

I know what I saw from photos and video of the militias and the LEOs on the scene. One group had a bunch of ARs. One didn't.

Now maybe the LEOs had a SWAT team on alert off-site ready to deploy. But as far as a show of force, the militias won the round.
