    I'll cop to it. I don't think I ever called him a nazi, but I had convinced myself he was the devil incarnate. I have a lot of affinity for President Obama, but I'd make him a one-termer in a second if it avoided Trump. I don't think Democrats top the list by any means, but I think our habit of being the party who cried wolf with GOP pols certainly played a role in the rise of Trump.

    I already did that experiment when you vote for somebody you think would be a really bad president just in hopes of avoiding Donald Trump. She lost anyway.
