    So many people write or say "kiddos" these days. Drives me bonkers. There are a bunch of words like that. Middle-age mom slang.

    Ugh.

    Here's mine: She's my dog and I love her more than I can describe. She's kept me sane through some turbulent personal and professional times. I don't know where I'd be without her. But she's my DOG, not my furbaby. My DOG, which is perfectly acceptable.

    I'm also on board with Starbucks and sizes. I go there damn near every day and I like a lot of their stuff. But I always say large and they come back with whatever they call it and I say if that's large, yes.

    I do love my dog, that's for damn sure. We head to the beach tomorrow and it is her happiest place on earth.
