I say that because I don't think people should say and do whatever the hell they please, in certain cases, just because they can. I think they should be responsible enough to handle their freedoms with respect, and care. That's asking too much, I know, but that's me.

No, I'm largely in agreement with you as a practical matter. But when you wrote "under the guise of" you implied that people don't really have those rights, and they do.

McDonald's coffee is fine by me. I actually don't care for Starbucks' taste, and since I'm a black, no sugar guy, that ends that.

I've had a lot of coffee ... Starbucks is the only one that ever gives me the shakes.

 

This is kind of what I've thought maybe we all, everyone, even the media, needs to do lately. We're all going to have battle fatigue, over, sometimes I think, we're not even sure what, if this keeps up for four years.
