They don't have to be good guys. Do you understand free speech?

 

Assange said they were protesting against free speech. They weren't protesting against free speech. They were protesting against people who are not good guys.

 

Please. If I put together a rally for "free speech" with the intention of ranting about how the Darkies and Wetbacks and Hebes are holding me back is it really about free speech? Am I missing something here?

(Does anyone even use Wetback any more?)

 

I mostly posted the Assange tweet to upset people who can't help themselves. That was easy. But if free speech was only about what the good guys said and did, it wouldn't be worth protecting.

I need to find a site where people are involved with the ins and outs of free speech and aren't such knee-jerk simpletons regarding the First Amendment.

I don't think that I disagree with you though hate speech is worth a conversation. But I think it is disingenuous to label today's event as a free speech rally.
