Please. You go find all my posts supporting Trump and the administration. In the meantime, you will be a dutiful MAL and support the verbal and physical abuse of LEOs because liberals are incapable of being reasonable. Incapable. Keep making these silly arguments. Keep using the Nazi situation and, frankly, every other situation as cover to defend bad behavior for political purposes. Keep losing elections.

    No.

The reason this is happening is because the media turned its spotlight on a guy named Richard Spencer, who no one ever heard of, to then try and tie him to Trump.

There's no resurgence in neo-Nazis. They're no more welcome in the Republican Party than they were four or eight years ago.

And, they're no more embolden than they were previously. Idiots like this have been around forever. They've held events and rallies forever. But, they were mostly ignored, because they attracted a couple of dozen people.

Now, the same events still attract couple of dozen people, they just also attract a hundred news cameras.

If they do feel more embolden, it's only because they have the national media promoting them every day.

You're both deluding yourselves to give cover to an administration that gave rise to this because it sought and accepted the support of neo-Nazis and white supremacists . Yes they absolutely are emboldened by Trump and his staff white nationalists and both of you have complicity sided with the scumbags. Sad!

    Gave rise to it?

To what degree has this movement grown? Is there any evidence it grew?

They're basking in the media limelight. The media made Richard Spencer into a celebrity, not Donald Trump.

And, again, the white voters Trump picked up in this election came at the expense of the democrats. These were former democratic voters.

You can't, and Trump didn't, win the presidency by turning out neo-Nazis and the KKK. There aren't enough of them, and to the degree that they exist, they mostly reside in deep red states that any republican candidate would have won overwhelmingly.

You don't flip Ohio, Pennsylvania, Michigan, and Wisconsin by appealing to racists. It's absurd to even consider.

On a scale of 1-10, who's done more to promote white nationalists, and bring them to the attention of the American people, Donald Trump, or the mainstream, national media?

    I give the national media a 10.

Trump? The only time he mentions them, or their cause, is when he denounces them at the behest of the national media, who put them in the spotlight in the first place.

If a local organization called their local newspaper to ask them to promote an event they were holding, they might get a listing in some local event calendar, but otherwise they'd be asked to buy an ad.

But, if a couple of neo-Nazis want to get together in Charlottesville, or Boston, or Austin, the national media will promote the event for free.

    Why is that?

As a clarion call that these emboldened scumbags are trying to come out of the woodwork?

    Not at all.

This is "Summer of the Shark!"

There's the same number of shark attacks every summer, but when the news is slow, the media will latch onto shark attacks, and make big story out of it.

Same thing with neo-Nazis. They're small in number. They exist, mostly out of the media spotlight, because they are small in number, and have no impact on the social agenda, on elections, or on anything else.

But, when the media wants to, they can turn the spotlight on them, and make them appear more important, more influential, and more numerous than they are.

    It's manufactured.

But, unlike "summer of the shark!" which is meant to fill dead air, and attract viewers, this is meant to tar the republican party.
