Is OOP responding to me? A pity that I can no longer see his responses. Best decision I've made in a long time. I highly recommend it.

Yeah, but it happened over a weekend, when they were away skiing, so they were helpless.

    Come on.

    Angela Davis - Wikipedia

She was a featured speaker at the Women's March on DC.

Yes, individuals supporting somebody is the exact same thing as building statues on public property. If you twist yourself into enough knots, that is.

I'm just trying to figure out who's in, and who's out.

If you stand with Richard Spencer, you're out. We can all agree with this, right?

Richard Spencer is a Nazi. If you co-sponsor an event with him, if you have him as a featured speaker at your event, or if you attend an event he is sponsoring, you are supporting a Nazi, and the rest of us "good people" can now no longer support you. We want you out of our party, and we don't want you to support or vote for our candidates.

Is there a similar litmus test for those on the left?

If you have Angela Davis as a featured speaker at your event, should the "good people" on the left shun you, remove you from their political party, denounce you, and ask you to not support or vote for their candidates?

Just an extension of your usual hiding when you are losing arguments. Proudly brag about that cowardice, YF. It's very much your style.

That's fine. Whether you look or not, the board can see the massive holes in your posts. It's not like you are capable of honestly evaluating the responses of others.

Yes. I agree with you, and nearly used the same verbiage earlier.

Republicans have opposed white supremacists and ejected them from their party for decades.

When David Duke ran in an open primary for the US Senate in 1990, Republicans supported, endorsed, and voted for his Democratic opponent.

When David Duke came in second in an open primary for Governor in 1991, Republicans endorsed his opponent, a Democrat, who won the seat. And, despite the fact that Republicans came in third and fourth in that primary, Duke's vote percentage barely increased in the second round of voting.

A guy like Richard Spencer not only has never been embraced by the Republican Party, he's been denounced, by name. His ideology has been denounced.

I'm still looking for a single example of someone who the Democrats are willing to disassociate themselves from.

I'm still looking for a group, or a person, with whom a Democrat in good standing could stand alongside, and as a result would be denounced, and kicked out of the party.

So far, the list of those who this does not apply to includes socialists and communists. It includes Antifa. It includes Angela Davis and Linda Sarsour. It includes Black separatists and hispanic separatists. It includes anti-Semitic dykes.

The only group I know of who've been asked to leave the party are pro-lifers.

If I'm missing someone, let me know.
