It would seem the "right" gets criticized because they are the aggressors and the left aggression is in response to that. If the --you name it-- group was not trying to suppress or deny rights to people I think that -generally speaking- those lefties, especially mainstream liberals would NOT be the aggressor.

Do democrats want the support of voters who do not support equal rights, including marriage, for homosexuals?

Why is this a hard question to answer?

Certainly you wouldn't harbor those who wouldn't support equal rights for African-Americans. If someone opposed interracial marriage, they couldn't be a member in good standing in the Democratic Party, could they?

So, can you oppose gay marriage and still be a Democrat in good standing?

 

Right now, the president is a fascist, but the Democrats have to answer for an acquitted defendant from 40 years ago.

It is funny. Two black men in leather jackets outside a polling booth = voter intimidation. An armed militia in camp fatigues escorted by police to a neo-nazi rally = celebration of 1st and 2nd amendment rights.
I really wonder why these private militias aren't required to wear something that indicates they are not police when they appear at rallies in support of one side or another.
