52 percent chance clouds are going to fuck up viewing for the paper I'm working on tomorrow. Anybody got any "clouds in my coffee" headline ideas?

A friend of mine who is a teacher said a mother came into the office asking if she had to bring her kid back in the middle of the night. The receptionist said there is no need the eclipse is at recess. The astonished mom loudly asked why school was being held at night.

An irresponsible 20something I know -- who has a part-time job, a car she cannot afford and raging credit card debt -- is driving 2,500 miles round trip and paying $500 a night for a hotel room to be in the path.

    I am praying for rain.

Parents were showing me pictures they took at Wal-Mart this afternoon of the bread shelves picked clean. Apparently some people think the eclipse is bringing a foot of snow with it.
