Great Eclipse of 2017

Viewing it in Cali through our high tech equipment

 

I wonder, if we had imposed a large enough sunlight tax in the preceding years, if we could have avoided today's eclipse

 

I didn't know the Bastiat Show was on satellite!

 

Nice turnout after a slow start. Somewhere around 6-8k if I had to guess.

 

Temp's dropped 3 degrees here in the last little while ...

 

I'm glad we have glasses here at my office to look through. Otherwise, it just looks like the sun up there because you can't really look at it.

 

I was going to make a joke that Slate was going to be contrarian and say the eclipse was overrated and sucked.

20 minutes to totality here. Within the last minute or two it occurs to you that woah it's getting awfully dim out here. Even knowing exactly what's going on it's a strange sensation.
