If the Tigers didn't already have all the incentive they need to blow the roster to smithereens, this should do it.

This one's turning into a battle royale, sports fans. Not quite at Padres-Braves '84 level yet, but close.

Chaotic MLB game turns into brawl: Benches cleared 3 times; 8 ejected

 

I remember three things about that game.

Def Lefferts
Perez basically hiding behind Bob Horner
Big John McSherry getting right in the middle of it all.

 

And in between brawls, Verlander and Victor Martinez got into some sort of dispute in the Tigers' dugout. This is getting deeply weird.

 

After Kahnle gets run for throwing behind Miggy, and he sees Chapman coming in from the bullpen......do you think Miggy wanted to stand there and see what 104 feels like?
He had no desire to stay in that game with that snowball fight going on.
My biggest beef is with Betances. I've never had a problem with beanballs. It's a part of the game. But you don't throw 99 at a head.
Sanchez just got a big ol bullseye placed right on the front of his shirt.

 

How does Sanchez only get 4?

 

Shocked Betances didn't get suspended. Not even a fine.

 

I'm sorry, but that's a fucking joke. 99 at the head and nothing happens.
Sanchez should be 7 and Miggy should be 4.
How does Ausmus get suspended for 1 game and Girardi doesn't?
