Definitely, but I think McGregor took advantage of that to an extent. I also think Floyd might have been playing it safe, feeling McGregor out, making sure he didn't get hit with that home run punch.
As I said, once Floyd turned it on around Round 5 McGregor was done, just like most people expected.

The ref should have stopped the fight, but I wish he didn't.

I don't know how much credit he deserves. He didn't do much - aside from rabbit punches in the clinch. Mayweather' retirement slowed him more than his opponent tonight.

The best part of the past 45 minutes was the gullibility of people -- especially sportswriters -- on Twitter. Good show, but that's all it was. That match was faker than CNN.

I don't think McGregor landed a meaningful punch in the last four rounds.

That match went exactly the way they planned it.

Fair stoppage. Mayweather landed 14 straight punches

I didn't watch the fight but the general consensus is that people got their money's worth in entertainment. 'Kind of like the Super Bowl where the celebrity/party aspect was more worthwhile than the actual competition.

Yes, they had to stretch it out, at least that long.

Mayweather, took him a lot longer than he needed to. Just a freakin farce
