Didn't he win one for American History X?

    Nominated.

Also nominated for "Birdman" for Best Supporting Actor.

He was great in "50/50" and "Snowden," as well, but no nominations coming out of either.

    Nominated. Didn't win.

It's funny you think of all of those movies like Young Guns, Mobsters, Suicide Kings, and most of those actors' greatest paydays were due to TV. Charlie Sheen, Keifer Sutherland, Johnny Galecki, Patrick Dempsey..

  5. She was in Boardwalk Empire and Manchester by The Sea. She was great in Boardwalk Empire. I haven't seen Manchester.

I'll take Billy Zane and Brandon Fraser .. Good looks, decent actor.
Zane, for whatever reason never made it beyond a B movie star.
Fraser? I thought he was destined to be a major action star after The Mummy. Plus, he's got some comedy chops. Never happened.

Giovanni Ribisi ... I thought he'd be the next Ed Norton.

  7. I don't know about Ed Norton having a better career. I thought he was widely considered one of the best actors working... Not a box office smash, but a Daniel Day Lewis type.

It's not like she hasn't been working, and she is good. But around the time Rounders came out she was the it girl and on the cover of every magazine. People acted like she was going to have a Julia Roberts career.

I can't tell if you are purposefully or accidentally confusing Edward Norton with Joseph Gordon Leavitt, here. That's how good you have become at your particular brand of tomfoolery.
