Who cares if there's bad blood? The quotes from the Rangers about "competitive balance" and a 12-game road trip ring hollow as Houston drowns. The Rangers come off as a bunch of shallow asshats.

    No doubt.

Just trying to figure out if there is any unspoken issue. And Jon Daniels has shown himself to be a first-class dickhead before.

And it's a so-called organization in the same damn state. Talk about tone deaf.

So hard to believe a team that employs Rougned Odor could be red-assed about something at an inappropriate time.

The Royals have 43 scoreless innings. The AL record is 48.

I'm thrilled they get the chance to break this at home.

In the Boogie Nights version of the 2014-17 Royals, this is Dirk in the truck getting paid ten bucks.

The last 5 games have been nothing short of a debacle.
Ned was all excited "not worried about the wild card.......we still have a chance at the division playing the Indians."
    Nice job fuckbags.
I'm delighted that KC has been to the World Series twice in the last 4 years.
But one undeniable fact still remains.
    He's still Ned FUCKING Yost.

The Royals are who we thought they were.

This debacle is much easier to take after experiencing a parade.

Ned, Dayton Moore, Hosmer, Cain, Wade and even Gordon deserves a statue outside the stadium in the next decade.

Every personnel move since the parade has been dreadful.

Also lets not discount the Soria factor. Since he went to DL, they haven't scored a run. The hitters probably got too relaxed without having to compensate for Soria.

This season, Ms. Ragu is finally starting to understand some of the basics of baseball (and has even watched the Yankees a bit). This morning, I told her that the Royals hadn't scored a run in 43 innings and they were approaching the major league record. Without any irony she said, "I don't think that's a record they want." It's really funny if you know her and can hear it in her voice.

I'm oddly excited about the record. I'll even watch tonight. Hope is the Royals sit moose and Hosmer. Start Gordon, Escobar, Moss and call up Raul Mondesi and Terrance Gore.
