Kessler actually played pretty well last season given the circumstances.

Agreed. I liked what little I saw of Kessler. The Browns' quarterbacks took a nasty beating last season.

I agree. He moved the ball against the Pats until he got injured in the game.

I don't think it's a stretch to say the Browns and Jets have any intention of keeping the 53 best players this season. We are in tank mode from the get go for these two.

Pats parlay a five-touchdown performance from a third-string QB into a another weapon for Brady and possible replacement for Edelman.

Dorsett won't suddenly become worth a shit in New England. I'd be surprised if he sees the field much.

Related, another reminder that Ryan Grigson was a terrible GM.

The other thing this makes me wonder is just how much the Colts are sandbagging on Luck's health.

He's really going to be the punt returner replacement for Cyrus Jones. Oh, he'll play, but Cooks, Mitchell, Hogan, and as of now Amendola are all ahead of him at WR. Q, this makes it seem as if Luck might not be back for quite some time.

He also got a couple of starts while Brady was suspended, with mixed results. The Colts certainly don't have much behind Luck and they were not happy at all with Dorsett.

Yeah. Sounds like the Colts are preparing for more than just the opener without him.

I was doing a fantasy football draft the other night, and it struck me just how many teams have the potential to be unwatchable on offense this season. It might be a quarter of the league.
The Jets, Browns, Rams, Bears, Colts (without Luck), Jags, Broncos and 49ers are not going to have a single redeeming quality.

With Howard and Trubisky, the Bears are gettin' frisky!
