  1. Bateman plays a finance guy laundering money for a drug cartel.
If there isn't a reference to "money in the banana stand" in this show I am going to be pissed!

I don't think Linney has a better resume, but with a few money-grab exceptions, I think Bateman has had a much more varied career than just about anyone in Hollywood. As for strong female leads, he's great in Zootopia alongside Ginnifer Goodwin (says the old man with a 3-year-old daughter). " 'Topia, daddy!"

Linney has a much more prestigious resume. 4 Emmys, 2 Globes and 1 SAG wins and 3 Oscar and 4 Tony noms. I'll take Bateman's box office though. Bateman $1.8 billion, avg. $61m; Linney $979m, avg. $26m.

Anybody watch the Unabomber docudrama last night? I enjoyed it, but the time shifts threw me a couple of times.

I'm trying to record it, but I think I'm out of sequence.
Why are there still shows that don't include the season/episode numbers in the directory info?

I'm Sorry on TruTV is very funny.

    It's a family-based comedy with an edge.

Creator and star Andrea Savage is hilarious.

  8. Season 3 of Narcos dropped.
I don't have high expectations, but I plan to watch.

I've been watching, but I'm not sure how to categorize why I'm watching.
I don't 'like' it very much. I like the tone and appreciate the concept, but it's not making me laugh much.
Yet I keep falling back into it as space filler if I have time to watch TV but nothing else to view.

Does that mean I like it?

Any other new shows this fall people are interested in, heard good buzz, etc.?

I'm giving The Deuce a shot because, well, David Simon (and I like period pieces). First episode (released on Go early) was OK, but figure a lot of set up needed + HBO shows always take 2-3 episodes to get going. Thinking maybe about Ghosted on FOX. Of course, the return of Curb.

I'm watching Season 3 - did they explain why Murphy isn't around? Did I miss it?

Your list syncs up pretty much completely with mine. That Seth MacFarlane Star Trek rip-off I'll also probably try to watch one or two of, because it looks like a trainwreck.
