No they don't. Heard about the Mercers and Kochs lately? It is entirely possible to be a rich shit and not also be down with racism at all. That's not an internal contradiction.

 

Look, I can't stand Zuckerberg. Anti-labor elitest Democrats are a dime a dozen these days. But there's no question he's generally compassionate and generous, if sort of dumb and misguided with no public policy understanding and huge political blindspots. DeVos, OTOH, is a shrewd, cunning front person for mega-rich assholes trying to redirect public education dollars into their pockets at the expense of the least fortunate.

 

I don't now enough about the Mercers, but the Kochs are huge advocates of things like prison reform. To call them racist is absolutely ridiculous. More ridiculous than when you call average republicans racist.

 

Someone should write a critical article about how Apple uses cheap labor in China to produce iPads and iPhones. Might be an avenue someone wants to travel.

The whole point of government, which I am not surprised you don't understand, is to make collective decisions so that we can shape society in the way we want without abdicating the ability to act in self-interest in other areas.
