Easily my fave band right now. They do loads of great covers. Three more:

This is a one of the great one-off albums few have heard. The cover of "Raspberry Beret" is awesome.

I've always loved Colin Hay's acoustic rendition of this Men at Work song.

It got mentioned on a couple sites when it came out two years ago, but Yeezer is an excellent mash-up of Weezer and Kanye, if you're into both of them:

I don't think it'll appeal to you if you're only a fan of one, in contrast to the Grey Album.

This got a lot of run on Facebook about this time last year.

I went to look it up for this thread and found out the lead singer and drummer from Tears For Fears went to the guy's house to meet him and tape their own version!

(Audio sucks for about first 15 seconds)

Adding the strings to Mansion on the Hill really made me fall in love with this version.

  9. I'm going to get killed for this:
Darius Rucker's remake of Wagon Wheel. It is sooooooo much better than the original.

GnR's cover of Live and Let Die, Knockin' on Heaven's Door, Mamma Kin and Sympathy for the Devil.

Also, any song sung by Bob Dylan and remade/covered by anyone else. Tremendous writer. Terrible singer.

  10. Not a cover or a remake, but has anyone else heard Greta Van Fleet?

This is like the second coming of Zepplin ... Amazing ...

One More Cup of Coffee, White Stripes. Speaking of them, their live cover of Jolene is as good as it gets.

  12. As far as Jolene covers for me ... Miley Cyrus nails it.
