Running 2017 MLB regular season thread

2018 season will begin March 29, which is a Thursday. Also, all 30 teams will play on Opening Day for the first time since 1968.

I guess they were tired of getting overshadowed by the Final Four.

Indians go for 20 today; which reminds me of how I was there or the 2002 A's 20th straight; after blowing a 11-0 lead, Hatteberg won it with a solo bomb in bottom of 9th(?) (Climax in "Moneyball"). I was irked that my partner chose to entertain our clients at the A's game instead of going to (then) PacBell where the Giants were hosting someone. Turned out ok I guess. Too bad that that A's team couldn't get past the 1st round.
