Twins have scored in every inning thru the seventh against the Padres. They've hit seven homers.

 

In case you missed it, the Nationals clinched the NL East on Monday. They're 20 up on the Marlins with 19 to play and could become only the second team this century to win a division by 20 or more. Only other one to do it was the 2008 Angels (won the AL West by 21 over the Rangers).
The National League record for victory margin, near as I can tell, is the 1902 Pirates at 27 1/2 games over the Brooklyn Superbas. Biggest in the division era is the 1986 Mets (21 1/2 over the Phillies).
Major League record, near as I can tell, is the 1995 Indians winning the AL Central by 30 games over the Royals.

And the replacement catcher misses the next pitch and it drills the ump in the shoulder.

We had a situation here several years ago.
Pitcher/Catcher/Coach think pitcher is getting squeezed.
Coach calls time.
Pitcher/Catcher/Coach go to mound to visit.
NEXT pitch.
Catcher moves for pitchout, gets ump in chest.
Pitcher/Catcher/Coach.....all dumped.
