    It's well beyond nauseating.

I'm sure a fine lawyer could make the argument that they did.

A "fine lawyer," by definition, wouldn't try to because they didn't.

A fine lawyer wouldn't take that case.

If Jemele can say that and Linda can’t say what she said, what kind of standard actually exists here? There isn’t one. There’s clearly a double standard. If you say things the company agrees with, you don’t get punished. If you say things the company disagrees with, you do get punished. Maybe even fired.”

Well, no fucking shit, welcome to Big Boy world.

Are you doubting Norbert's grasp of the situation?

Why? I'm interested as to why people feel a young black woman shouldn't speak up about something that disturbs her deeply and that she considers important. I'm having a little trouble putting myself in her position, maybe some of you can help?

Fortunately for her, there are plenty of fine lawyers:

She makes an estimated $800K a year hosting the flagship sports highlight show in the country, which was completely overhauled in service to her particular skill set.

But she "can't pretend to care about" the NFL because Donald Trump is president.

    That's nauseating.

You think you want a world in which the White House can be successfully sued for criticizing a reporter.

But, believe me, you do not want a world in which the White House can be successfully sued for criticizing a reporter.

These types of post make you look like such a caricature. You certainly understand why the "how am I supposed to function" nonsense is nauseating. There are so many situations in people's lives where that might apply. There are plenty of people who find ways to "function" in the face of actual hardships. Making a martyr out of her is beyond stupid and insulting. And you know it.
