Calling the president a "white supremacist" is not innocuous.

 

Nah. Elrod was the starting catcher on a World Series champion. Blake Bordles plays for a team that has seldom been credible and about which nobody cares.

 

Pierce wrote that it's "irrefutable." He's a political hack. He doesn't write columns or essays. He strings together applause lines.

 

I don't mean to be argumentative, but I feel this thread has surprisingly remained on topic, despite complaints.

"We are sorry we allow Jemele to have a Twitter account" is about the only appropriate apology I can envision from ESPN.

 

Agree with Starman. Don't use the politics thread as some sort of reward for good behavior.
