When I covered college football, I threw everything I had at the game. Usually a 35 inch gamer, 15-18 inch notebook and 12-15 inch sidebar. Plus scoring drives with key plays, etc.
When I was done, I was exhausted and I tried to re-enact that old Lowenbrau commercial: I want the biggest steak you've got and a bottle of Lowenbrau.
Damn Provo. We ended up at Sizzler. They didn't have beer. Another one of my old saying was: Whenever I don't feel like having a good steak, I go to Sizzler.

ESPN isn't the only network with an abiding love of the SECessionist Conference. Fellow network partner CBS is in the tank as well. In the season's first two weeks, SEC teams were money line underdogs six times vs other Power 5s and Notre Dame. The CBS site picked five of them to win (2-3). Notable picks: Fla over Michigan, Auburn over Clemson.
Curiously, the same columnist picked FSU to beat the Tide.
This week, 3-for-3 in loyalty: Vandy over K State, Ole Miss over Cal, Mizzou over Purdue.

When was the last time Ole Miss played at a Pac 12 school?

Tampa gets to begin the healing by booing Lovie Smith at the pirate ship, right after this weather delay.

Sixteen minutes of game action in Tampa and we're up to 17 flags. Enough already.

Halftime and we're up to 26 accepted penalties. This is a fucking disgrace.
