My goodness does UTEP ever suck.

I think they are the bedrock of the @Neutral Corner "bet the over on UAB wins" strategy.

I didn't stay up to watch UTEP, but up to that point Illinois got my vote as the worst offensive team I've seen in a very long time. They are going to get hammered often.

And yet, Illinois will be USF's best non-conference win.

I feel like we are in a weird feedback loop where USF got anointed as the best non-Power 5 team because they have a name brand coach (even if he came from the dented can store) and they keep getting trotted out there because they keep winning, even though they look thoroughly underwhelming each time. Hopefully someone in the AAC exposes them or voters start paying attention to San Diego St., which strikes me as a superior team.

I turned the game on at the start of the third quarter, and they were already two and a half hours in. I assumed that the game was delayed for lightning.

Yeah, but only by 35 minutes. According to the box score the refs calmed their tits and finished with 31 accepted penalties.

ESPN2 is setting a record for worst quadruple-header in broadcast history:

    • UConn-Virginia
    • North Texas-Iowa
    • Colorado State-Alabama
    • San Jose St.-Utah
    Woof.

Texas A&M might not win two league games this year.

For the amount of money they pour into the program, they are really not very good.
