    Been away for a bit. I've been doing some stand-up comedy so I have saved all my funny for the stage.

    Stand-up is a lot like sports writing. A bunch of talented people willing to work for free!

    It is a great way to focus your writing, get a high one night from the reaction and a low the next.

    Did I miss anything?

    Even in stand-up I sometimes tell the punchline before the setup.

    Last night an experienced comic told me that I should stay in my lane but swerve.

    I had a lot of time to ponder that on the way home while I waited for the tow truck.
