Scott Steiner is doing his part as a franchise owner outside Atlanta.

  3. I miss Checkers. There are still some around, but most were converted to Rally's.

Also... McDonalds has officially stopped serving the McPizza.

    I used to love Rax.

I haven't been to a Rally's in 20 years or more, but I loved those batter dipped fries. That was them, right?

They're all Checkers around Atlanta. Probably just a regional thing like Carl's Jr./Hardees.

Carl's Jr. bought out Hardee's in 1999 and kept the name, but rebranded it in the Carl's Jr. image. They changed Hardee's menu to the Carl's menu at first but now they're mostly different menus.

They came here earlier this week with about 100 of their five buck meal specials - two sandwiches, fries and a cookie (plus a drink) for five bucks. First time I'd had Carls/Hardees food in maybe 25 years

Never ate at Judy's, but I remember seeing one, which no one else I know outside my family has. Was on the main drag in Elizabethton.

Shakey's Pizza? I think that's what it was called.

There was a Burger Chef on West Broad Street in Richmond we used to hit occasionally. A Lum's too, in the Fan by the Biograph Theatre, not sure if they are still around. Moddy?

Shakey's Pizza is still around -- I saw one last month when I was back in my former city of residence -- but there aren't too many left. They used to be all over the place, along with Straw Hat Pizza.

There are a few K&S cafeterias in my burg. And I also know of K&W cafeterias and D&S cafeterias in my state.

    What's with the initials?

All that being said . . . thanks to hondo for starting this thread. I was going to mourn the loss of Quincy's (which I haven't seen in years and thought was dead), but I just discovered one exists about 2o miles from me.
