Anyone else think Trump is just trying to jumpstart a USFL comeback?

    Oh fuck off.

If we're "going to be clear," let's "be clear".

Don't say you're being clear, and then present something that isn't factual.

I would think journalists would agree with this, but it's all narrative for everyone now.

    To be clear...

You are obviously unfamiliar with the case, or the argument the nuns made.

Aren't you the guy who is still obsessed with three Clintons and two Obamas?

Wishing someone else called them a son of a bitch is better?

It's his usual con game: Say (or wish) somebody else said it. Then he can deny his association with it.

Liberal on Twitter, cited by SJ.com member: Let's be clear...

(Liberal on Twitter recaps story in a way that is inconstant with the facts.)

(No one at SJ.com rolls their eyes.)

YankeeFan: Not only wasn't the tweet clear, it was factually inaccurate.

(Liberals at SJ.com roll their eyes.)

    Who said better?

I just don't know why people can't accurately recount what was said.

What I'm saying is, go ahead and criticize the president. That's fine, and within bounds.

But, make it clear that it's based on the politics of the issue, and don't pretend your making some principled constitutional argument, when you made the exact opposite argument recently when the politics were different.
