    Yes. You’re catching on.

Why would Republicans not use all the weapons that are used against them? Would you recommend this to anyone, in any sort of battle?

Maybe this will finally stop the playing of the national anthem before sporting events. Never liked it, never saw the need to do it, it's just faux patriotism.

YF, you need to go after this guy for stealing your argument and applying it to the other side.

Winning isn’t everything. It’s the only thing. For years, conservatives tried to play the “moral high ground” card. Somewhere along the way, they just said, “fuck that, let’s just do whatever it takes to win, no matter how odious the strategy is.”

Unfortunately, it’s working. For now, anyway.

JFK wasn't looking forward to a nuclear exchange, but the powerful people around him sure were. (Of course, they were around Ike and Truman, too . . . )

At Super Bowl XXXVIII (New England - Tennessee in Houston, most famous perhaps for Janet Jackson's performance), my drunk buddy who came down from Boston booed Josh Groban, when they introduced him to sing a song honoring the crew of the Space Shuttle Columbia.

That did not go over well.

Doubling down on the "moral high ground" horseshit, too.

That’s an awesome example of how not to read a room, but I have to push my glasses up my nose and point out that Nipplegate was Pats-Panthers.
