    I have always wondered why some people are so eager to trust vital statistics put out by the Cuban government (which lies about everything) -- because they just need to, want to, believe something.

    Regardless, it's sad that the Cuban people don't get that they are living in Shangri La as it's been described on the last two pages. Not that the typical Cuban person has any hope of leaving, but for decades the ones who could figure out how to escape have seemed to flee in droves. But what do they know?

    He did not take Fidel's side, instead he responded to your question with a list of facts.

    You're welcome to refute them with counter-facts, that would certainly be a more persuasive approach than simply ranting "Oh my god, oh my god, you're on Cuba's side..."

    And Cuba could be amazing.

    There are billions of dollars waiting to invest in a democratic Cuba.

    Every cruise ship would stop in Cuba. Tourism would thrive.

    But, the Castros needed to control everything.

    (Also, racism is a thing in Cuba. Only fools pretend it isn’t.)

    Attributing those things to Kaepernick is fair. Attributing them to everybody else joining in is not, In fact it was just more of the dishonest bullshit you spew all over this thread on a daily basis.
