    Leadership from the Cap'n.

Prospective Marlins owner Jeter orders firings of Mr. Marlin, McKeon, 2 Hall of Famers

Andre Dawson, Tony Perez, Jack McKeon, Jeff Conine.

And here’s the twist: Jeter asked Marlins president David Samson to fire those four Marlins luminaries for him, because Jeter didn’t want to do it.

Even more strange, Jeter made the request after telling Samson what he already knew: that Samson would not be returning as team president.

C.C. gives you 6 shutout innings then you push the envelope and he gives up 3 in the 7th.

It ain't the Angels who should be criticized for that, it's Sherwin-Williams.

Another Puerto Rican problem. They've got enough on their plate. Sheesh.

    Exactly.
My guess is they're gonna pay the money anyway, then you'll see the can go away next year.
What's a cool mill to a company that size anyways?......Pay it up. Look like the good guys. Move on.

Less than zero surprise here, but one of the favorites of what became the Giants' golden era.

The horse rides off: Matt Cain to retire at end of 2017 season

Career record of 104-118 is a farce. His ERA is 3.69, and that's even after the last three years being 5-plus. Through his first six seasons he was 69-73, 3.35. In 2007 he was 7-16 with the 10th-best ERA in the National League.

Dominated in the 2010 postseason (one unearned run in three starts) and started the clinching game in all three series in 2012.

The dumpster fire that is @BestFansStLouis is begging that Bryant or Rizzo wear one tonight after Pham wore one and had to be taken out.
    What a cesspool.
