Do we not have a running 2017 golf thread?

Anyone know if there is a "Cup" between the Euros and International teams at some point. Why should the US have all the fun?

They redid Liberty National and it is now one odd if lovely course. Clubhouse looks like Deep Space Nine.

I've never been a fan of tournaments that come up with their own routing of holes. (This week the opening hole is what the members play as No. 5.)

Also flipped the 9's at Eastlake, which took some balls.
There are some courses you just don't mess with.

They hated ending on a par 3 at Eastlake. Greenbrier may be the only Tour stop left that ends on one.

    Yep.
Love what Justice did a couple years ago.
Someone aces it, every fan on hole gets $100.
Then, $500 for another hole in one.
2015, George McNeill hit one, then Justin Thomas hit one.
    First ace cost him $18,900
    Second ace cost him $173,500

He said that if there was a 3rd, he would have done $1000.

My late Mom got a hole-in-one on that 18th in 1995 when we were there. It was an awesome experience for her not just because of the shot, but because the patio of the clubhouse was full of people who were all going crazy as she came up.
I think the 18th at Liberty is a dramatic match play finishing hole.

I wouldn't have a problem with it if it was exciting.
Not much fun to me watching guys having to hit 4-hybrid 240.
Make it 110 yards or something to where there's some excitement.
I still say the best par 3 on tour......maybe in the world is the 7th at Pebble.

The Presidents Cup is what the Ryder Cup was in 1965. Utterly uncompetitive.

Even at his age, Bill has more women gathered around him.
