Well, they can post it on Rate My Professor. He'll probably see it.

    I know, I know.

It was just a little factoid that most people probably don't realize, so I thought I'd take the opportunity to toss it out there.

You would think that having no assignments to turn in would make school awesome.

    You would be very wrong.

Anyway, pivoting back to the thread ... Trump sucks.

Maybe my favorite methods guy in my doctoral program was a geneticist who taught a particular variety of experimental statistics. He did his undergraduate work at one of the English biggies -- Oxford or Cambridge, I can't remember -- back when classes didn't have assignments or examinations. You sat for examinations the whole spring half of your fourth year, and how you did on those determined whether or not you graduated and where you stood in your class.

This fucking guy, he was so off-the-charts brilliant, he blew off school his third year and worked a kibbutz in Israel ... spent that fall of his fourth year pondering what questions might be asked and still managed to graduate at some high level of distinction.

Yeah, but he actually flew over the big water and saw it surrounding the island. It's the visual equivalent of the last person who talked to him about an issue.
