The president of the United States ain't the leader of the free world, at least not anymore. He's your president, not ours.

 

I know this never occurs to our basketball-colored president, but you could just *gasp* not say anything. But when you spend Seven decades never paying for opening your mouth I could see how this would never cross what little of a mind you have.

 

Canada needs to take over and make things run right. That's the only solution.

How long before Trump, who equates NFL player protests with disdain for the military, blasts "his" generals for agreeing with the elected officials in Puerto Rico?

 

It is fascinating to see what things Trump supporters value over simple human decency. Liberal tears for some, tax cuts for themselves for others, and of course, their racism for others.

 

I don’t know what Trump should be doing differently, but it FEELS like he isn’t doing enough.

General who oversaw Katrina response slams Trump for Puerto Rico attacks



"Retired Lt. General Russel Honoré, who oversaw the U.S. military response to Hurricane Katrina, fired back at President Trump over his early morning tweets attacking Puerto Rican leaders.

“The mayor’s living on a cot, and I hope the president has a good day at golf,” Honoré said in an appearance on CNN.

The former lieutenant general said Trump needs to give Lt. General Jeff Buchanan, who is overseeing the U.S. military response to the crisis in Puerto Rico, “anything he thinks he wants.”

“[Trump should] order the NORTHCOM commander to be on scene. She has the order to give Gen. Buchanan anything he needs, and that’s what’s needed right now,” Honoré said. “We need more boots on the ground to help kick-start the system.”

Buchanan said Friday that there weren’t enough troops or equipment for the Puerto Rico recovery efforts but more would soon be sent."

 

The Trump bashing is because he publicly ripped a woman of color in a leadership position who dared question him. The Trump
bashing is happening because neither he nor his administration can articulate what is and isn’t being done and is instead concentrating on trying to score political points. There’s really only one word for it: Deplorable.
