It was nice to make the championship game, but I'm getting cornholed in the final. You can't get zero-point starts out of Max Scherzer at this time of the year and expect to beat anyone. Sigh.

Yeah, he fucked me last week pretty good. I didn't even look to see what he's done this week.

Won my dynasty league semifinal today behind a complete game shutout from Quintana for 42 points. I started the day trailing by 40 points. Had Quintana and Kershaw going, and they both kicked ass and helped me knock of the league's top-scoring team (I have the second-highest scoring roster). Hoping to continue this nice run I'm on with one more win.

Totally flopped in the finals, with my worst scoring output of the season. Kershaw was on a limited pitch count, Quintana didn't do dick against Cincy, Pomeranz got shelled by Toronto and Betances, Wade Davis, Colome, Clevinger and Devenski didn't do much out of the pen. Blackmon was the only batter in my lineup to top 14 points, I had only four batters reach double digits and Machado actually managed to score -7. What an ugly way to go out.

Lost the league which I won last year and 2 of the previous 3. Comfortably won the deep points league with a big second half comeback, and the shallow H2H where the only 2 teams that finished ahead of me in the regular season lost in round 1. In that one, I won with a tie in the finals with higher seed breaking the tie. The Buxton steal and Mengden (spot start) win got me even.

Nice. Getting two championships is a sweet way to end the season. I'm 0-for-3 in my last three fantasy sports championships (lost both football championships last season). It's brutal.

I'm already looking forward to drafting in March. I'll miss the day-to-day rhythm of checking my team.

Me too. And I sat out football this year. Basketball I don't follow that closely as a fan, so fantasy is kind of shaky. How many days till pitchers and catchers?

Same here. My team was eliminated from the league playoffs three weeks ago, but I still like keeping track.

Offseason trading opened in my league today. I already posted an On the Block list. :)

My dynasty league looks in danger of folding. The Commissioner just quit along with two others. I have some guys to fill the slots, but there's a question of whether the other guys want to continue.

I'd be pretty bummed if it folds. It's my favorite and most competitive league.

That sucks. I hate when long-standing leagues fold, especially keepers. The investment you made in team-building gets tossed aside.
