Sure, but I doubt he woke up yesterday evening from a nap and decided to do this.

She might have gotten the fuck out of Dodge for a reason.

Alex Jones is already on Twitter claiming this has the earmarks of Democrats in cahoots with Islamic groups.

This is not necessarily so in the macro sense. States with more rigid firearms laws have fewer firearms deaths as a percentage of population than those without such laws. It doesn't stop the mass murders so much as cut down on the accidents and suicides which are still the leading causes of gun deaths.

His site has a bunch of barely plausible headlines that likely have no sourcing.

I can see why people get hooked, in a way. You get addicted to new information, and he's going to give something to you. Whether it's actually true or to is not consequential.

From what I've been seeing, that horse has left the barn.

Right. So she wasn't there when "he started pulling all the guns out of the suitcases."

Some of the early reports seemed to suggest that Las Vegas police were searching the area for her.

ISIS is claiming it, but The New York Times' Rukmini Callimachi -- for my money, the go-to reporter on terrorism -- isn't buying it.

Well, at least one Senator had the balls to say something real:

"It is positively infuriating that my colleagues in Congress are so afraid of the gun industry that they pretend there aren't public policy responses to this epidemic," the Connecticut Democratic senator said in a statement released Monday. "There are, and the thoughts and prayers of politicians are cruelly hollow if they are paired with continued legislative indifference. It's time for Congress to get off its ass and do something."
Murphy went even further via Twitter just after noon eastern. "To my colleagues: your cowardice to act cannot be whitewashed by thoughts and prayers," he tweeted. "None of this ends unless we do something to stop it."

I took @Neutral Corner's post to be metaphorical.

That's how I took it this morning, too, though, while this was breaking.

I have it on the same authority that Alex Jones gave a giraffe a blow job while he watched his daughter do gymnastics
