As you are all aware, a mass shooting took place last night in Las Vegas. One of our former students, Tina ########, Class of 2008, was one of the people injured in the shooting. Tina was on the soccer team while at Arundel and was on the All-County team in 2007.

Tina had surgery this morning and is currently in ICU in a coma and on a ventilator. She lost her right eye and they are unsure if she has sustained any brain damage. Her family has flown out to Las Vegas to be with her.

After listening to Sarah Sanders today it's not hard to understand why a lot of people believe conservative officials sending their "thoughts and prayers" (like their shallow and obtuse defense of the American flags and the anthem after racial injustice protests) are beginning to sound like threadbare attempts to avoid of the real issues involved. Do something.

 

The rationale behind almost every conservative policy argument is : “I got mine, fuck you”

 

Hell, never mind the guns. Just view anyone who has been background checked more than 10 times as worthy of a closer look.

 

You don't need a semi-auto to hunt any animal. So stop it.

 

What do you want 'em to do? I'd bet folding money the Las Vegas shooter committed at least half a dozen gun crimes before he ever squeezed the first trigger.
