What are you trying to argue here?

I said he likely did not have a fully automatic weapon, or an illegally modified weapon, because it was something we had not previously seen, despite initial report to the contrary.

    I was right.

What more is there to discuss?

Yes, lots of people said it sounded like automatic gun fire. Yes, he used a legally purchased item to allow the weapon to more closely resemble an automatic weapon.

    I never suggested otherwise.

If you want to claim that I was somehow wrong, tell me what I said was wrong, not what someone else said that does not contradict anything I said.

Snake, it only sounded like automatic fire. It unleashed a fury of bullets the same rate as automatic fire.

BUT IT WAS NOT AUTOMATIC FIRE.

If in the chaos inherent in such a scene a police officer/first responder said "thus-and-such," and "thus-and-such" runs counter to an argument @YankeeFan is making, then we can assume said officer/responder conveyed the truth, the whole truth and nothing but the truth.

If, however, "thus-and-such" is consistent with an argument @YankeeFan is making, then we must sadly shake our head at what a rube @YankeeFan is for holding as truth words spoken amid such chaos and uncertainty.

Why, it's almost if the one thing that ties every shooter together isn't religion or race or politics, but the fact that they treat women terribly. I believe we've found the common thread.

But it was "automatic fire," by definition. He wasn't pulling the trigger for every bullet being fired. The cop was correct in the moment.
