The gun silencer thing has been put on ice for now. Why don't gun manufacturers just come up with a way to lower the noise and incorporate the tech needed on the gun or in the ammo?

The gun nuts will still, in time, find a way to berate and vilify the victims and their families. It's what they do.

One of the victims was an elementary wrestling and Little League coach in my hometown. He and his wife had flown in from Pennsylvania, their gift to each other for their 25th wedding anniversary. She spent 36 hours searching for her husband before learning his fate.

A woman who graduated from a local high school was killed. I covered schools that played her school in basketball back in 2000.

Our good family friends went. They invited my wife and I. We declined. We don't like country music and I am going to vegas this weekend. I texted with him all weekend about football parlays.
I go to bed early, and wake up early. and on monday morning, I woke up to a text from 10:55pm from him that said "There was a shooting at the concert, we are all safe".

In my mind, it was one or two people shot. Not the worst mass shooting in US history (for now).

See Snark''s post. It was automatic fire. You were wrong. And in your desperation to find some semantic, bullshit hiding place to avoid admitting your latest failure, you made a damn good argument for stricter gun regulations.

Just as you have taken on President Trump's flaws, you are doing the same with the NRA crowd. Like the rest of them, you are so desperate to avoid giving even an inch, you come off like a tone-deaf jackass and you somehow think that the cowardice of Congress when it comes to facing the NRA somehow makes you right. It is exactly that kind of idiocy that made it easier for that murderous piece of garbage to kill nearly 60 people and cause injuries to over 500. Congratulations on your contribution to society.

I'm sure YF or some of the NRA hardliners here will find some reason to rip into this, but I thought Kimmel's response was impressive. My apologies if this was already posted somewhere.

Yes, that's what we need. More trolling on the thread about a mass shooting.

I'm sure they're huddling to come up with a new bullshit line to replace "Good Guy With A Gun" since that does not apply in this situation. Thought that line was utter bullshit to begin with.

And as stated before, getting ready to pay off gutless GOPers.
