You said "the U.S. is the scariest country on earth, and it's not close." Am I missing a secret meaning here? Because on its face that's absurd.

Oh please. Canada has been lucky as hell to be living beside us. There's no country on Earth that has had to be less concerned about being invaded or attacked historically.

I really like Canada, but I sometimes think y'all don't get just how fortunate you've been geographically. No third world neighbors. No hostile neighbors. Oceans removed from any threat. And the world's greatest military power as your sidekick protector. No country sits in a sweeter spot, security wise.

Let me make a short list of why living next to America is scary:

    1) Donald Trump is your president.
    2) You have a lot of nukes and a giant military.
    3) You have a lot of other guns in the hands of regular, sometimes fucked-up people.
    4) You have a lot of racists.
    5) You have a lot of drug addicts.
    6) You have a lot of weird, unhinged religious stuff going on.
    7) You have a lot of people who don't believe in science.
    8) You have been at some kind of foreign war for some very large percentage of the last 25 years.
    9) Donald Trump is your president.

It's all good until America decides it needs to stretch.
