If you need tracers to help your aim - it's probably not a safe environment to shoot in.

 

At USC-Oregon State on Saturday, there were probably twice as many security members and half as many fans. Obviously a rush job. You could tell because the bright yellow vests and the khaki cargo pants were brand new. These people protecting us must have had at least a day or two of experience.

 

Depends on the state. Depends on the cough syrup.

Also, not what I was talking about.

 

I definitely think it should be easier to buy the good cough syrup ...

 

I know someone on Chincoteague who swore to quit drinking and took up NyQuil instead. Got so bad, the pharmacies wouldn't sell it to him anymore. So he paid teenagers (this was over 20 years ago) to buy it for him by the case.

Friend of mine said you couldn't find a bottle of NyQuil on the whole fucking island.

And, if you know the ingredients, acetaminophen, yes, he destroyed his liver and died.

But he never had another drink!

The infinite number of fucked up ways the human mind can think is really outstanding and very sad.

 

When I was a kid working in a drugstore, we caught an old homeless guy leaving the store with 15 bottles of Vitalis hair tonic crammed into his pockets ... and one of them already was half-empty.

As we held him for the police, I said: "Why would you drink this stuff?"

And he said: "It calms my nerves and helps me shit."

 

Jeezus, he coulda had kumquats!

 

Or the good green stuff.

 

We made it less than 16 months before Vegas became the new largest mass shooting in modern US history. How long does it last? Do we make it out of 2017?
