I'd be fine with the extra scrutiny, as long as they also give me a UV light at check-in so I can see how many spunk stains are in the room I'm paying out the nose for.

I believe the issue is your refusal to live up to the standards you whine about constantly on this site.

Yeah, I know. You're hiding. Blah, blah, blah...

Known among vegas execs, but wasn't in the public yet. He let the cat out - funny.

How many ways in and out of the Wynn are there? If they're checking every one, that's an immense change since I was last there.

I'm sure they're not, or it certainly sounded that way in the NPR interview. Transcript at the hyperlink, or hit play. Short text, or a four minute plus run time. Here:

This is a guy from the Wynn properties. Between this and the Wynn Fox News interview, the Wynn people sound very very confident about their security.

Well, sure. But boys without a formal education have almost zero chance to enter the Poin files.

I have no problem with that, as long as they are confident and not smug. At the very least he sounded as though he *knew* that the Wynn's security was much better than the Mandalay Bay's... although two days after the shooting that was an easy attitude to have.

The real reason a Wynn casino wasn't used for this type of attack is because a Wynn casino doesn't overlook the concert venue, right?

I find it hard to believe there is anything more than a marginal difference in security between the large Vegas hotels
